What can you say about a job you had for less than a year? My time at CMP/Think Services was short, sweet and was simply a victim of corporate re-organization. During my time there I worked with art directors, marketing managers and conference personnel to design and develop websites for SD Events (Now part of Dr. Dobb's.)
The CMS was restrictive, it was effectively doing this kind of job with one hand tied behind my back. Javascripts that did much more than rollovers or detect field entries were verboten, which in hindsight was fine because before I got there the sites were nigh-unusable; a lot of my focus at the time was spent just cleaning up massive UI issues (e.g., the registration forms, under my care, suddenly became exceedingly clear in asking for what information was required.)
All told, I designed, coded and launched three conference sites. Suffice it to say, conference management was happy with the results.
